Alex is an Associate in our Energy and Strategic Land Team and her focus is to advise on the property aspects of renewable energy transactions and projects. Alex has considerable experience in large-scale energy projects, including onshoring land requirements of offshore wind farms and major onshore, solar, battery storage and pumped hydro projects across Scotland.

Sector experience includes:

  • Assisting with securing land rights and funding for an onshore cable corridor for a 882MW offshore wind farm;
  • Advising a developer on the repowering of a wind farm;
  • The extension of a large onshore windfarm;
  • Advising a renewable energy developer on adding secondary technology to an existing renewable energy development;
  • Advising a developer and negotiating land agreements for an energy park; and
  • Advising landowners on land agreements relating to a large solar and wind farm developments.
