Jamie obtained his LLB with distinction from Edinburgh Napier University and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Edinburgh.

Jamie has a particular focus in property litigation and contractual disputes. His work in property is wide ranging including dilapidations, lease disputes, interdicts, rectification, service of notices and repossession actions. He is also experienced in commercial and insolvency litigation, telecoms, debt recovery and diligence.

Jamie regularly appears in the Sheriff Court, Land and Property Tribunals and the Land Court together with acting as an instructing agent in the Court of Session. He has also appeared in the Sheriff Appeal Court on several occasions. As part of his personal passion around access to justice, Jamie volunteers as a supervising solicitor with the University of Edinburgh’s Free Legal Advice Clinic.
